About our Values
These values drive me and my thinking in running a successful business.
1. If you want to reach goals never before reached then you must do things never before done. This drives me to find new innovative solutions, not just follow the leader on what is standard. This is what makes a great leader in my mind; someone who is not afraid to stand out in a crowd and do something different. I agree that sometimes being different may not always succeed, but if Bill Gates had not tried something new then someone else would have eventually come along and picked up the slack. This concept applied to Centerline means we will do new things in the community that break the traditional paradigms of business. We will focus on our partners' needs to make them more successful. I know if we do this then we will not need to worry about being successful because it will happen. The partners are hungry for someone that can help them, not just make more money off of them. There is such a great gap in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV community for a strong base from which to build. The question in any customer's mind should not be whether to select some other ERP product versus NAV. It should be to select right NAV partner for them.
In a successful business your clients should always come first. You should be honest with them in everything you do. Constant communication in a world that is turning to non-verbal communication is very important. I much prefer the verbal communication over e-mail, but the world is moving towards a non-verbal business. My goal to is make sure all of our partners know who we are, what we sound like, and that we care about their needs, not just their money. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard that partners feel like the only thing publishers care about is their money. Yes money is important to run our business; we can’t just give everything for free. However if we focus on the needs of partners and their clients then they will not have any problem paying because they are getting an excellent return on their money. Everybody is looking to get the best deal for their money, so our goal will be to always be to stay one step ahead of your competition.
2. Three rules of life:
Love like you have never been hurt:
First comes your family. In life they are the only ones who you must trust 100%. You should put all the time and effort possible into making sure they are happy and that you have plenty of time to spend with them to enjoy life.
Dance like you dance when nobody is watching:
Don’t worry about what others think of you. You need to be the leader, stand up for what is right and do what your heart tells you to do. You are the one that has to live everyday with yourself. Be true to your heart and that will make you happier than all the wealth in the world.
Work like you don’t need the money:
If you work like you don’t need the money than you will have more passion in what you do. You will have more passion because you are doing what you love, not just what you have to do. This will, in turn, make you more successful financially. That is the great thing about this life; we are free to choose to do whatever we want. There are so many ways to be successful. Most of the time we don’t do something different because of fear. I often wonder how many great ideas never came to pass because the idea generator feared failure.
